Obama a gift to conservatism??

Before you think I have my head stuck somewhere it doesn't belong  when I say that the election of Barack Obama has been a gift to the conservative movement, let me explain.

If John McCain had gotten elected, he would have been an endless source of frustration for us consertives, like Bush was towards the end of his term. But since he was a Republican (In Name Only), it would have been delaying the inevitability of a Democrat winning (probably Obama in 2012), because the American people would quickly have gotten fed up with him over things like Cap & Trade, Illegal Immigration, etc and thrown him out of office in 2012. Over those four years, the Democrats would have been backstabbing him like they did Bush and have done to McCain ever since 2000 or beyond, meanwhile gathering more vitriol and venom. Then when they got the White House in 2013, they would have almost assuredly over reached but had more and more powerful troops in their camp to ram their Marxist agenda down our throats.

Now with the Democrats showing their true colors the American people are waking up to the fact that the modern Democrat party is not the same Democrat party of their Grandfather, perhaps Father. Instead the Democrats have lurched so far to the left that a self proclaimed communist (Van Jones) was an advisor to Obama, a person who considers Mao Tse Tung a political hero of hers (Anita Dunn) is the (now outgoing) White House communications director, and so on and so forth. John F. Kennedy would not be welcome in the modern democrat party or so it seems.

If the American people once again trust the Republican party to be Republicans and have the reigns of power, they need to act like Republicans not Democrat Lites like they did most of Bush's term. To paraphrase Ronald Reagan, We need bold colors not pale pastels when it comes to the two parties. I am not 100% convinced that a third party is the best idea, because Ross Perot running third party in 1992 handed the White House to Bill Clinton. On the other hand being that I live in Minnesota and how I saw both the Republicans and the Democrats were allied against Jesse Ventura when he was our governor, and how nothing got done and that it was a good thing, perhaps if the Republicans start to go wobbly again, then it will be time for a third party.

I think err scratch that I KNOW the Silent Majority of Americans has been awakened and now that we are awake, we are as mad as hell, and we're not going to take it any more.

However the Republican party could easily snatch defeat from the jaws of victory if they nominate another John McCain / Lindsey Grahm type Republican (In Name Only). I feel this is evidenced by what happend in Upstate New York were the party brass nominated a very liberal RINO in DeDe Scozzafava, thus forcing the party loyalists to hold their nose and vote for her (except for the fact she dropped out then supported the Democrat). Thankfully in that case there was another choice in Doug Hoffman. In 2012, if we get another McCain type as our nominee, you'll see more and more steam behind someone like Ron Paul.

The Failed policies of the last eight..... MONTHS!

I am literally about ready to barf, after hearing the sound bite of Captain Catchphrase Barack Obama speaking before what Rush accurately described as the Star Wars Bar Scene aka the United Nations.

The Narcissist in chief Obama, trashes his country anytime he speaks to the world. Didn't his mother ever tell him, if you have nothing nice to say, shut the hell up?

Here is a letter I sent to the Minneapolis Star Tribune:

"You cannot legislate the poor into freedom by legislating the industrious out of it. You don't multiply wealth by dividing it. Government cannot give anything to anybody that it doesn't first take from somebody else. Whenever somebody receives something without working for it, somebody else has to work for it without receiving. The worst thing that can happen to a nation is for half of the people to get the idea they don't have to work because somebody else will work for them, and the other half to get the idea that it does no good to work because they don't get to enjoy the fruit of their labor." --Dr. Adrian Rogers

The policies of the current administration seem to be hell bent on trying to legislate the industrious class out of their wealth and then re-distribute to those who refuse to even attempt to work, and instead just sit home and take advantage of the generosity of the State. From my research it seems the widely thrown around number of the uninsured being 47 to 50 million people, is greatly inflated for all too politically convenient reasons, of legislating the industrious out of their (economical) freedom while in their minds legislating their preferred constituents into freedom. But as a wise person stated; “Capitalism is the unequal distribution of happiness, Socialism is the equal distribution of misery” But by enacting their brand of health care reform, the current administration will take more power out of the hands of the people. Instead this reform would increase the power in the hands of the few and well connected, instead of the many.

How much do you want to bet, it doesn't get published?

Stories from a Canadian friend of mine:

Stories from my friend Kurtis Keith of Manitoba:
I bruised some muscles in my back in a car accident not too long ago. Went to the hospital, and had to wait 7 and a half hours before I even got out of the first waiting room. Then waited another hour before the nurse came in to tell me the doctor would be around shortly. Half an hour later, a doctor comes in asks a few questions, touches this and that, then says that a xray specialist will grab me to get an xray. 45 minutes later, I get my xray and go back to the doctors room to wait another 15 to find out the xrays were negative, and it was just bruised muscles. So I spent about 10 hours in the hospital and had about 5 minutes with an actual doctor and 10 minutes getting an xray.

But some of the stories from the waiting room were pretty bad.

There was one very old man lying on some sort of stretcher thing, constantly moaning every 15 minutes or so, and the woman with him, likely his daughter, was constantly asking nurses to let them in, because he was in incredible amounts of pain. After about 2 hours of this, the man begin almost screaming uncontrollably, and finally they let him in to see a doctor after the daughter demanded they let him in.

Also an old couple who came in much later than I did, kept bickering. The old man every 10 minutes or so, kept asking his wife why they were in a hospital, and she would tell him it was because he passed out at home, and they drove here in an ambulance. The man would get upset and say he didn't pass out, or remember coming here in an ambulance, and he wanted to go home. And the wife would get annoyed and tell him that they can't leave until he sees a doctor and he would have to wait because it would still be awhile before they got in. This exact same conversation happened about 10 or so times, before the woman was so annoyed, she gave in to the husband, and they took a cab home without seeing a doctor.

Do we really want this here in the United States of America?

Van Jones

What does it say about the old guard media (NY Slimes, Washington Compost, NBC, etc) doesn't even blink an eye when a self avowed communist as an advisor to President Obama.

I heard somewhere (perhaps on Sean Hanity's show), that Van Jones faced less scrutiny to work in the White House, than Joe the Plumber faced just for daring to question Obama. According to Hannity (I believe), in order to even walk into the White House (to work), you have to fill out a background check questionnaire (unless you are one of Obama's czars).

So, let me get this straight if your name is Samuel Joseph Wurzelbacher  (Joe the Plumber) and you dare question the mesiuhh (Obama), every parking ticket and speeding ticket is fair game. Also if your are Joe the Plumber, the hard left will make up allegations on you and have one of their stooges dig into classified state records to dig up garbage on you. Of course, the old guard media will happily recite the Obama administration's talking points on you if you are Joe the Plumber and dared to question Barack Obama.

But if you are Anthony "Van" Jones, you can be an self avowed communist, 9/11 truther, and say some crazy stuff and the media will say nothing about it whatsoever..

Here are a few intersting videos on Van Jones:

Glenn Beck's expose on Van Jones:

Van Jones spews about "enviromental justice" and white polluters.

Van Jones: Only "Suburban White Kids" Shoot up Schools

Van Jones portrays Bush as a "crackhead" (apparently he doesn't understand the laws of supply and demand)

Van Jones: Bush used the Flag to "Lynch" War Dissenters
Authoritarian sentiment, took over this country, burned the constitution... Oh he must be talking about his boss, Obama.

I think the above links are enough to prove the guy is nuts.

In a future post I will go into the whole Truther vs. Birther comparisons. For now I will say this, the Democrat Party will never disavow the Truther movement, but the Republican Party has already thrown the Birthers under the bus.

Legislate into freedom?

"You cannot legislate the poor into freedom by legislating the industrious out of it. You don't multiply wealth by dividing it. Government cannot give anything to anybody that it doesn't first take from somebody else. Whenever somebody receives something without working for it, somebody else has to work for it without receiving. The worst thing that can happen to a nation is for half of the people to get the idea they don't have to work because somebody else will work for them, and the other half to get the idea that it does no good to work because they don't get to enjoy the fruit of their labor." --Dr. Adrian Rogers

It is obvious that Barack Obama and the progressives either think that they can legislate the poor into freedom or they are trying to tear down the America that founders envisioned with intentions of re-building it into Eastern Europe. It is my belief that they say they are legislating the poor into freedom while really they don't give hoots in hell about the poor. They use the poor to tug at the heart strings of the average nightly news watcher into surrendering their freedoms and liberties to the government, thinking that they are helping the poor. If you look at the inner cities, which the Democrats have owned for years. Since the Great Society and War on Poverty there has been BILLIONS OF DOLLARS in wealth transfer payments to the poor and indingent people in the inner cities.

I heard an African American Conservative caller to a local morning talk show here in Minneapolis/ St. Paul area state "that the Democrat Party has always wanted to the black people on the plantation, it used to be the master's plantation in the old south, and now it is the Government (dependency) plantation." Personally, I would say they don't just want to keep the african-americans on the plantation, but also to put all Americans on some form of welfare and thus depend on and vote for Democrats.

Is it too harsh to say that Obama and his administration aren't just socialists, but approaching the level of communism or facism?

One Big A$$ Mistake America

I love how Barack Obama keeps saying that expanding Government Run Health Care will not increase the national debt and increase jobs.

So let me get this straight, we have the government increase its spending, increase the taxes, which in turn will kill jobs and when less people are working, the government then gets less revenue, and then in order to keep costs down, they will ration the treatment.

I "stole" the following from a caller to the Jason Lewis Show:
One
Big
A$$
Mistake

Stop A.C.O.R.N.

I applaud Michele Bachmann for rising up to try to keep A.C.O.R.N. from getting taxpayer money. She does face an uphill battle in this matter, because A.C.O.R.N.'s friends are in control of the House and Senate. Like Michele Bachman recently said on Mark Levin's radio show, Yes, it may be an uphill battle but if the American people rise up, perhaps the Democrats will listen to them. I personally want to share in her optimism but A.C.O.R.N., George Soros, and other hard left wing money men speak louder than you and I, when it comes to the Democrats in Washington D.C.

While I am not optimistic of our chances to be heard on this, I urge all to sign the petition at htttp://www.ipetitions.com/petition/TaxDollars

We the Silent Majority can no longer afford to be Silent anymore, because if the Democrats gain seats in 2010 and if Obama gets re-elected in 2012, I am affraid it might be curtains for the American Republic as we know it. In the meantime we need to rise up and fight A.C.O.R.N., Organizing For America, Moveon.org, George Soros, the Far Left Wing Democrats, and others from instituting their Universal Health Care plans, The (un)Fairness Doctrine, and many other things that would cause the Founding Fathers to roll over int heir graves if the knew what is going on.

God Bless and Save America!

David Letterman and Sarah Palin and other random topics

Let me get this straight, if you are a left wing comedian it is fine to make fun and talk about rape when it comes to the daughter of a conservative politician. However if someone in the 90's had made a similar joke about Chelsea Clinton, they would have been crucified in the press.

I find it shocking that N.O.W. actually stuck up for Sarah, Willow, and Bristol Palin. Usually N.O.W. more accurately resembles National Organization of Liberal Women.

Sitting at the computer today June 12, 2009, I would say that Sarah Palin is one of my top favorites to run againist the mesiuhhh Obama. Others that appeal to me are Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal, Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels, South Carolina Governor Mark Sanford, US Congressman Ron Paul from Texas, and perhaps others. Even though I live in Minnesota and voted for him twice, I would much rather not have Tim Pawlenty anywhere on the Republican Ticket, because he is a Watermelon Patch Republican in Name Only. Tim Pawlenty is a big proponent of corn ethanol, a believer in the new State Religion of Global Warming or Climate Change or what the hell ever the new talking point term is.

Global Warming, Climate Change is a massive trojan horse that is being used to get Americans to sacrifice their liberty, the sovereignty of America, their economic prosperity, and other normal everyday choices all in the name of saving the planet.

Obama Birth Certificate

One of my favorite news sites, World Net Daily (www.wnd.com), is trumpeting the issue of whether or not Barack Obama was born in the USA or not. While I do feel it is important to determine whether or not Barack Obama is legally eligible to serve as President. I am not sure whether as a conservative this is the proper tack to take or not.

On one hand: If the Supreme Court were actually to hear the case of the Birth Certificate issue and rule that indeed Obama was born in Kenya and therefore is not eligible to continue to serve as President. The hard left who is Obama's base will revolt and the professional poverty pimps like Jesse Jackson, Jeremiah Wright, Al (not so) Sharpton, et al will team up and more than likely create riots in the inner cities of America. I suspect these riots will make the riots we saw here in Minnesota during last year's RNC convention look like something organized by a bunch of 1st graders and probably would damage the economy. These riots probably would resemble the aftermath of the Rodney King beating trial on steroids, where that anyone who is not the same pigmentation as Obama and the poverty pimps would be at risk of being beaten or killed. Obviously I do no want to see that kind of chaos come to America. I do feel that if Obama is not legally qualified to be President it is important to honor the constitution and it's guidelines for the Presidency.

On the other hand: I personally think that I would rather just defeat Barack Obama and the Obamunists at the ballot box in 2010 (House and Senate) and in 2012 (House, Senate, and President).

In the near future I will post on who I like in 2012 on the Republican Side.
